We switched to using wind power in our production.

A sustainability project in which we set sustainable development goals. We implemented a set of indicators that clearly illustrate the emissions caused by different raw materials in an easy-to-understand way.

The story of Lagerblad began in 1998 at the Helsinki Wholesale Market with a dream shared by two chefs. Honoring tradition and respecting ingredients, we have been creating mouthwatering food for nearly 25 years to meet the demanding needs of hotels and restaurants.

Pohjolan Peruna is working together with the climate partner Biocode to raise awarness of climate impact issues and carbon footprint.

Pohjolan Peruna has also biogas project ongoing, which is going to decrease climate risks. And company’s carbon footprint will be reduced significantly by biogas plant until at the end of year 2025.

Pohjolan Peruna Oy has manufactured Finnish potato products since 1962. Pohjolan Peruna works closely with contract farmers to continuously develop the best potato varieties for products. Pohjolan Peruna is best known for it’s Mummon products. The plant is located in the municipality of Raahe, Northern Ostrobothnia in Finland, surrounded by the best potato fields in the country.

Pohjolan Peruna produces different kinds of potato mashes, flakes and granules. And also a wide range of vacuum packed potato products (chilled food), and different kinds of frozen potato products. Brands are Mummon, Mestari and ROOTY.

Hailia&#8217;s operations started in 2021 with the aim of rationalizing food production by introducing a competitive alternative to imported fish to the market.

Hailia&#8217;s factory building was renovated, and operations began. They started the production of responsible and sustainable small fish products.
Carbon footprint calculation commenced in collaboration with Biocode.

In January, we switched from conventionally produced liquid nitrogen to an environmentally friendly alternative. According to estimates, this change reduced the carbon footprint of <a href="https://report.biocode.io/product/hailia-en/hailia-pulled-small-fish">Pulled Small Fish</a> by 10 %.
The first product&#8217;s carbon footprint calculation was completed.

Hailia Nordic Oy is a Finnish food technology start-up that began its operations in 2021, specializing in the development of innovative fish products and production methods. Their first delicious products were introduced to the market in 2023.

We are a cheese manufacturer from Kuusamo. We use professional skill to produce cheeses developed by our cheese masters. The character of our cheeses matures surrounded by the Northern nature. We know that good things are not made easily, but with a relentless attitude.

We make characteristic emmental, tasty cream cheese and nuanced edam from fresh milk. We are also proud of our smoked cheeses that are smoked with real alder chips.

Vöner Oy is a Finnish company founded in 2017. Company produces plant-based food products, e.g. plant-based proteins and ready meals for retail and professional channels.

Vöner is a meat-substitute made of wheat-protein.

Perniön Liha Oy is one of the oldest sausage factories in Finland. The company, located in Salo, had its 90th anniversary in March 2020. We are famous for our high-quality and meaty sausages and snacks under Perniön Liha and Helsingin Makkaratehdas brands. Our sausage are known to win prices annually in several categories.
