Hailia’s operations started in 2021 with the aim of rationalizing food production by introducing a competitive alternative to imported fish to the market.

Hailia’s factory building was renovated, and operations began. They started the production of responsible and sustainable small fish products.
Carbon footprint calculation commenced in collaboration with Biocode.

In January, we switched from conventionally produced liquid nitrogen to an environmentally friendly alternative. According to estimates, this change reduced the carbon footprint of Pulled Small Fish by 10 %.
The first product’s carbon footprint calculation was completed.
